I spent my teens, 20’s and 30’s running after the idea of “skinny-happy”.  I just knew that I would be accepted, be successful, “be enough” if I just lost a few more pounds. What I actually learned is that tying my self-worth to my size didn’t work and was a treadmill I had to get off of. It left me feeling empty.

I finally came to understand that real change came from letting go of the diet rules, while focusing on what my body needs for overall vitality - not a number on a scale. Doing so with compassion instead of disgust.

I’ve maintained a healthy size 6 for more than a decade eating the foods I love.

Now I am passionate about helping women lose weight for good and learn to love and care for themselves in the process.
